A new concept by the hotel Andaz Amsterdam is taking place called Bluespoon on Board. The five star luxury hotel will be opening up its restaurant ‘Bluespoon’ to allow hungry guests on the Amsterdam canals to order food from their restaurant without leaving their boat!
The Bluespoon restaurant brings an order and take out concept to a five star level with Chef Julien Piguet and his team serving up some delicious food ranging from hot and cold dishes, light or hearty meals and also savory snacks and sweet desserts. Also available are wines, champagnes and soft drinks.
The Boat Menu from Bluespoon is fresh and delicious consisting of salads, sandwiches, burgers, snacks like patat and bitterballen, cheese boards, luxury pizzas, pasta dishes, steak and if you’re after something a little sweet, there’s meringue lemon pie, blueberry cheesecake, fruit and rum savarin. Your order comes with everything you need including plates, cutlery and napkins.
To take advantage of Bluespoon on Board, boats need to place an order a half hour before they arrive on the Prinsengracht in front of the Andaz Hotel where the staff will be ready & waiting to serve your take away.
