  • COMEDIAN RUSSELL BRAND TO PERFORM AT HEINEKEN MUSIC HALL

    Saturday November 9th comedian Russell Brand will be coming to Heineken Music Hall for an epic night of comedy. The show is part of his Messiah Complex world tour. 

    Russell Brand is one of the most talked about comedians/presenters/actors in the world. This Englishman has had quite a rollercoaster of a career so far. On the one hand he has starred in blockbuster movies, performed in brilliant comedy shows and tv programs that have made him an international star. On the other hand he is also known for his turbulent lifestyle, his marriage to Katy Perry and encounters with paparazzi. All of these aspects combined form the basis of the unique humour that defines this extravagant artist.

    Russell Brand quickly makes a name for himself in the world of comedy. He rocks the Edinburgh Fringe festival several times and gets to perform for Queen Elizabeth during the Royal Variety Performance. In the mean time Russell spends a lot of his time in the US, where he is rapidly becoming more and more famous through his performances on Comedy Central.

    Russell is also very well known for his presenting and acting skills. With shows such as Russell Brand’s PonderlandRussell Brand’s Got Issues and Brand X he gives his audience lots of laughs but also food for thought as many of his sketches are filled with controversy.

    Russell has presented numerous shows of international renown such as the NME-awards, the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Comic Relief and the MTV Video Music Awards. Viewers of the VMA’s are sure to remember Russell Brand’s contribution since he managed to offend George W. Bush, Britney Spears and The Jonas Brothers.
    Russell also starred in blockbuster movies such as Get Him To The GreekForgetting Sarah Marshall and Rock Of Ages.

    This November Russell Brand will perform a full night’s show for the first time in the Netherlands. In the show, called Messiah Complex, Russell discusses religion and beliefs in a hilarious and controversial manner. He calls upon several world leaders from history, including Jezus, Che Guevara, Gandhi, Malcolm X and many more. Sounds like a recipe for success!
