  • De taart van m’n tante: A yummy treat in De Pijp

De taart van m’n tante or Auntie’s Cake was started by two guys crazy for cakes and good times. Siemon de Jong and Noam Offer have been running Amsterdam’s only cake house for more than 20 years.

Come in and have a piece of cake in the colorful, Uberkitsch café where you can expect to meet either Barbie and Ken or Dame Edna. Escape to a place where you can forget your troubles. Taste one of the confection line cakes or discover their famous custom-made cakes: romantic, sexy, or over the top. Auntie’s team loves a challenge!

The cakes of De taart van m’n tante are displayed and enjoyed in famous local museums and get-togethers of the ‘fine de fleur‘ of Amsterdam. In addition, they enjoy the center of attention during parties at Club Roxy, surrounded by half naked bunnies.

Why don’t you spend the night and have cake for breakfast?  The quaint B&B Cake under my pillow is above the café in the middle of the bustling neighborhood De Pijp, the Latin Quartier of Amsterdam. All the museums, shops, and nightlife are just around the corner. You’re welcome to visit daily from 10.00 to 18.00.
