  • Foam Museum is Looking for Talents

On Wednesday, February 1st, Foam Museum has officially opened its annual Talent Call. Young photographers from all over the world are now welcome to submit their latest works to participate. Artists selected as this year’s Foam Talents will get their works published in Foam Magazine and take part in a special traveling exhibition.

Foam Museum Presents Talent Call 2017

The Foam Talent Call is an annual search for talented photographers aged 18-35. This year marks the 11th edition of the contest that runs from February 1st until March 19th. Between March and June, the jury selects the winners and the results are announced shortly after. The Foam Magazine Talent Issue featuring the portfolios of the winners is released in the fall.

In addition to magazine publications, the selected photographers get to participate in a special traveling exhibition. Starting at Foam Museum in Amsterdam, the exhibition then travels internationally. Previous editions have been shown in Paris and Brussels, and the winners of the 2016 Talent Call are still about to present their works at exhibitions in New York (30 March – 16 April 2017) and London (18 May – 18 June 2017).

In 2016, the Talent Call received over 1500 submissions from 70 different countries. The jury selected about 20 portfolios.
