  • Food Bazaar at Trouw Amsterdam

    foodbazaar

This Thursday the big Food Bazaar is back at Trouw Amsterdam for another year of culinary celebration and exploration. Many culinary entrepreneurs will be at the Food Bazaar this year showing off their inspiring, surprising and sometimes bizarre food specialties.

From 4pm to 11 pm come down to Trouw Amsterdam and enjoy the range of offerings Food Bazaar has to offer. Try some Tender Boswijk Burgers, delicious soups from Krom Kommer, healthy salads from Venkel, chocolate by Tony’s Chocolonely or perhaps if you want to get a little more hands on, you can learn to make sausage with the chef from Restaurant ‘As’, or learn to make cookies out of stale bread or chocolate bonbons out of insects. Want to learn all about detoxing? Follow a Detox workshop provided by Better & Fun.

Spices, dried fruits and superfoods for the health conscious will be available from Middle East Groceries. Need a caffeine buzz? Then head over to the coffee tasting stand with the best coffee shop in Amsterdam ‘Lot Sixty One Coffee Roasters’. Maybe you’re a tea person, then head over to the Tea Bar with a range of different blends and Iced Tea.

Besides all the food and culinary delights, you can also buy the latest cookbooks, attend the exhibition of Itamar Gilboa’s Food Chain Project or retreat to the outer cineville for a viewing of an episode from The Wild Kitchen. If you have some food in your pantry or cupboard like a pack of spaghetti or canned soup, you can bring it down to Trouw Amsterdam and swap it for something else at the Food Bazaar’s Swap Corner.

With so many different cuisines and delicious and different foods, the Food Bazaar will definitely fill your belly and have you coming back for more.

Food Bazaar goes from 16.00 to 23.00 this Thursday the 19th of June and entrance is completely free.
