Looking for something a bit healthier than the usual eating spots in Amsterdam? Juice & Salad Café is exactly what it says it is and so much more. Amsterdam’s first ever Juice and Salad Bar offers fresh, delicious and healthy juices with crisp tasty salads and delicious sandwiches in a wide variety of combinations and flavors to suit anyone’s palate.
Opening in 2012 and now situated in 3 convenient locations, Juice & Salad Café makes it easy to grab something healthy on the go. The founders behind this great little juice and salad bar are Michiel and Nick, who put great importance in having the freshest organically grown products for their ingredients. Everything that goes into all the salads, juices, sandwiches, breakfast, lunch and meals is all naturally and locally grown produce, reducing the gap between city and farm.
The salads and juices are all named after places around the world. Like the South American salad, with crumbly feta, fresh tomatoes, creamy avocado, and quinoa or maybe the Australian which includes crispy lettuce with beetroot, fresh tomato, feta and the iconic Australian Macadamia Nut in a mustard-lime vinaigrette. All the salads are served with superfoods like quinoa and lentils or whole-wheat pasta and brown rice.
Not only are the salads global but also the fruit and vegetable juices. You can grab an Oriental Juice with juicy apples, sweet peaches and acerola or perhaps the European with apples, pears, strawberries and raspberries. You can also choose your own yogurt or porridge and select different kind of toppings.
Amongst the already delicious menu, you can also make your own Juices and Salads, which they’ll make for you fresh on the spot. Since you can have salads made to order you can also ask for meals with or without meat.
So if you are looking for healthier alternatives without sacrificing flavor and at great prices, pop into Juice & Salad Café to munch on some delicious and healthy food. For more info visit their website at www.juiceandsalad.nl
