    live at amsterdamse bos

Amsterdam’s very own ‘Bostheater’ has a proper intimate outdoor evening in store for the atmospheric summer nights ahead. During June, July and August you can find your favorite musicians serenading you, your family and friends amidst towering trees, while appreciating the magical retreat that lies just on the outskirts of Amsterdam’s city centre. Locals and tourists alike find a certain romance that lies in the Amsterdamse Bos and with an amphitheater set to accommodate nearly 1500 guests, it’s sure to be a memorable weekend escape.

For their second edition of Live at Amsterdamse Bos, Bostheater is hosting six open-air performances to be held over the course of three months with appearances made by local and international musicians alike.  Texan-natives Midlake (June 29th), Australian-duo Angus & Julia Stone (July 1st) (SOLD OUT), Belgian singer-songwriter Milow (July 20th), Dutch local Bo Saris (July 27th), Belgian/Dutch group Novastar (August 10th), and Iceland’s Olafur Arnalds (August 18th) are scheduled to entertain your summer weekends that lie ahead. Performances are to begin at 21.00 and continue until midnight. For an even better taste of this great lineup (and other recommended bands), be sure to check out the Taylor-made Spotify (link to http://open.spotify.com/user/liveatamsterdamsebos) playlist “Live at Amsterdamse Bos”.
