    Every year for one week in November, Amsterdam hosts the biggest national art and antique fair in the Netherlands – PAN Amsterdam. Gathering more than 120 gallery owners at one place, the fair provides a huge assortment of art and antiquities.

    Shortly after firstly held in Amsterdam in 1987, the fair won a good reputation for being just a perfect place to enjoy and compare the works of art.

    To Buy or Not to Buy

    Before the fair starts, a group of independent vetting experts check every piece of art to verify its quality and authenticity. That means if you’re going to PAN intended to buy something, you can do it with confidence.

    For those who are not interested in purchasing artworks, PAN Amsterdam will still be a fascinating visit. Apart from the fact that the fair offers a lot in terms of art, it is also famous for its lovely elegant atmosphere. The place is full of light and has an exquisite interior.

    Practical Information

    PAN Amsterdam takes place on Amsterdam RAI in the end of November. In 2016, the dates are 20.11.2016 – 27.11.2016. See here for the exact address, directions and opening times.

    A regular one-time ticket costs 15 euros. A pass for the whole duration of the fair is 40 euros. All tickets can be bought through the official PAN website.
