  • An Exclusive Preview of the Fully Painted Van Gogh Movie

Loving Vincent is the world’s first fully painted animated film. Featuring some of the most famous Vincent’s paintings, the Van Gogh movie tells the artist’s story by his own works.

To make it possible, Van Gogh’s admirers had to create exactly 62,450 paintings! Not to mention studying for four years to imitate the distinctive Van Gogh’s style. No wonder the Loving Vincent trailer went viral! People all over the world are looking forward to the film premiere, which is planned for April 2017.

Here in Amsterdam, the Van Gogh Museum provides a unique opportunity to catch a preview of the film much earlier! Visit the museum on 25 November 2016 and enjoy the special event with guided tours, great music, short films and a 20-minute preview of the Van Gogh movie.

Great news – no extra costs for the event! All you need is just a regular ticket to the museum.

The preview of Loving Vincent starts at 8 PM, following a couple of short films selected for the evening by Pluk de Nacht. After, there will be a unique opportunity to meet the makers of the movie and talk to them.

See here for the full program of the evening.
