I first came across Cil’s artwork at Modefabriek earlier this year. As soon as I saw it, I was captivated.
Her style is a coming-together of elements from the graphical, medieval and aboriginal art. Her subjects which are mostly female in shape, are beautifully rendered.
Their hair is fashioned into beautiful and intricate patterns that swirl and repeat in a dream; like a dance across the surface they are drawn on.
Cil has exhibited her work and also been commissioned for various Mural projects. In fact the bigger the canvas, the better you’ll enjoy this singular talent.
