Support for tape artist Max Zorn’s project Stick Together continues at Amsterdam’s creative cafe Canvas op de 7e, showcasing work made by top level urban artists at Stick Together: AMSTERDAM this year.
Stick Together is the last exhibition Canvas will host outside its private display before closing its doors this August for remodeling. The show’s larger than life theme guarantees a collection that’s “XXL”, with artworks climbing up to 250 centimeters by 250 centimeters in size.
Work on display includes art by: Bustart (CH), DHM (NL), Jorge Herrera Fuentealba (NL), Laser 3.14 (NL), Last Plak (NL), Max Zorn (NL), Ottograph (NL), Otto Schade (UK), PLEASANT (US), TONA (DE) and TelmoMiel (NL). Pieces will rotate and the exhibition will display until June 28.
The exhibition offers an opportunity for street art fans to view and buy large pieces that are usually created in urban settings usually impossible to buy or display inside, but still staying affordable, with prices starting at EUR200.
Canvas op de 7e is located on the seventh floor of the former Volkskrant publishing building at Wibautstraat 150. Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from noon to 01.00, Friday and Saturday 11.00 to 03.00.
All work exhibited is for sale and created on fiber board panels for April 2013’s Stick Together: AMSTERDAM weekend event, a project created by Max Zorn in an effort to spread street art around the world. The project saw over 60 international urban artists come together for one weekend to showcase and create live art for an 1300 plus audience inside the historic hanger at Amsterdam Roest.
