Welcome to our weekly Amsterdam guide! Let’s look at what the Dutch capital has to offer!
28 March – 14 April
Dining in a high-class restaurant is usually a pricey experience. The only exception is the DiningCity Restaurant Week. From the 28th of March until the 14th of April, high-end restaurants all over the country (about 100 restaurants in Amsterdam) serve a special three-course dinner for a fixed price of €27,50. A great chance to try something new!
The Imagine Film Festival comes back to the EYE Filmmuseum in April to entertain you with the best imaginative films out there – from horror to science fiction, from shorts to anime. In addition to movie screenings, the festival offers lectures from the directors. Check out their official website for the program and tickets.
SOFU (Sounds of the Underground) is an annual festival held in Amsterdam in the mid-April. As it focuses on alternative and independent music, expect plenty of noise, punk, folk, avant-garde and electronics. “Mainstream comes to you, but you have to go to the underground,” claims their website. The festival takes place at various locations in and around the Vondelpark.
Easter is almost there! With the weather so nice and so many great events happening during the long Easter weekend, it would be a crime to stay inside. Stay tuned with our website and Facebook page to find out more about the things to do this weekend.
