  • Weekly Amsterdam Guide: 13-19 February 2017

Welcome to our weekly Amsterdam guide! Let’s look at what the Dutch capital has to offer!

    Valentine’s Day

    14 February

Not many European cities, if any, can beat Amsterdam when it comes to romance. Everything about it – winding canals and countless boats, narrow houses and cobbled streets – has a unique poetry and charm you simply can’t resist. While just a walk around town would already be romantic, Valentine’s Day deserves more! See what you can do with your Valentine this year.

    IJ Hallen Flea Market

    18-19 February

IJ Hallen is the biggest and the most extraordinary flea market in Europe that sells all kinds of things! Stock up on second-hand clothes and shoes. ‘Dig up’ a vintage bag or an antique lamp that costs less than a cup of coffee. Find everything you’re looking for and even more!

From 1 PM on Saturday till 8 AM on Sunday, Thuishaven and Warehouse Elementenstraat will be occupied by a non-stop party. 19-hours day and night edition of fun, wonders and best electronic music, from house to techno and everything in between.

    NeighbourFood & Flea-market

    19 February

Spend your Sunday tasting delicious street food while treasure hunting at the flea market. Be there for the NeighbourFood’s special edition – this weekend they celebrate a 5-year anniversary. The entry is free.
