    Films with a View: Spring Breakers

    Starting from the beginning of June, cafe-restaurant Pllek presents their new summer open-air movie program in collaboration with Outdoor Cinema and Films with a View. The screenings take place every Tuesday after the sunset provided that the weather allows. This week on the agenda is Spring Breakers. The entry is free.

    Dutch Workshop & Cafe

    Studying Dutch? Come and join the Dutch Workshop and Language Cafe to improve your skills. There will be two workshops and a discussion afterwards. Note that the event in not for complete beginners as it’s focused on the conversation. Dutch native speakers are also welcome! Moreover, they get a free drink for helping out.

    The View Amsterdam

    22 July / Madam

    A party with a view at Madam Amsterdam! The entry is free, and no reservation needed. Just show up at the door after 10 PM and enjoy a breathtaking view over Amsterdam, as well as the best selection of dance music.

    Over het IJ Festival

    14-23 July / various locations

    The Over het IJ Festival takes place on the northern shore of the River IJ and is all about art and great food. Specializing in one-off intimate performances, the festival features theater, dance, improv, poetry and everything in between. Some of the shows are in Dutch, some are in English, and the rest have no words at all. Check the official website for more information.

    Live At Amsterdamse Bos

    10 July – 15 September / Bostheater

    Live At Amsterdamse Bos is a series of outdoor concerts and theater performances taking place during the summer season at one of the Amsterdam hidden gems – the Bostheater. The theater is in Dutch, but music has no language barriers! See the line-up and full program on the link above.
