14-24 September / Sloterplas
After Pluk de Nacht and World Cinema Amsterdam in the Open Air leave the stage, the West Beach Film Festival kicks in with their annual movie program. The screenings take place at the Sloterplas Beach daily, starting at 7 PM. The program includes Captain Fantastic, Demolition, La La Land, and many others. Admission is free, but the number of seats is limited, so come early.
20 September / Boom Chicago
The Amsterdam Magic Show is the first and only English magic and comedy show in the Dutch capital. Entry includes a glass of Prosecco, a stage show, and an after-party. Welcome to the wonderland where everything is possible!
21-25 September / Amsterdam Roest
After the last year’s unforgettable edition, Oktoberfest returns to the Dutch capital, for 4 consecutive days this time! Expect awesome music by local and international DJs, delicious food and snacks, crazy games and prizes, and lots of beer, of course! The entry is free.
22-24 September / Westergasfabriek
Unseen is the leading photography fair that focuses on what’s new in the photography world. Returning to Amsterdam for its sixth edition this weekend, Unseen features over 50 independent photographers and galleries from around the world. The program includes displays and exhibitions, informal meetings and the book market.
Mass Meditation for all The Right Reasons
23 September / Museumplein
Stop by the Museumplein this Saturday to experience The Mass Meditation for all The Right Reasons organized by The Gardens of Babylon and Inspired Coaching. The event is donation based, and no previous meditation experience required. Just bring your meditation cushion and yoga mat to make yourself comfortable. Everyone is welcome!
24 September / Rembrandtpark
As the title suggests, the Rembrandtparkfestival takes place at the beautiful Rembrandt Park and offers lots of fun open-air activities for the whole family, including live music, theater, food market and so much more! Admission is free.
24 September / Park Frankendael
Pure Markt is a place to explore and taste delicious organic food of Holland and the rest of the world. Pick a few dishes to eat on the spot, stock up on foods for home, enjoy the sun and music. For the youngest visitors, there is a solar-powered merry-go-round! The entry is free.
