Rolling Kitchens (Rollende Keukens in Dutch) is an annual culinary festival taking place at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. The entrance is free, and all food is affordable. Take a walk around, tasting a little of everything, decide on your favorite dish and enjoy an open-air lunch listening to live music.

Hemeltjelief Festival returns to Amsterdam on Ascension Day with entertaining events and activities for the whole family. There will be live music and theater performances, karaoke and games, workshops and competitions. The entry is free for visitors under 12.
26 May / Van Gogh Museum
Inspired by the Prints in Paris 1900 exhibition, the Maker Market artists have created something very special. Stop by the Van Gogh Museum after 7 PM on Friday to discover their artworks and enjoy your well-deserved Friday drink.
26 May / Amsterdamse Bos
Hamburg-based record label DIYnamic is taking over the Amsterdamse Bos on Friday, May 26th, to throw an epic open-air dance party, for the fifth time in a row. Visit the festival’s website for the line-up and tickets.

The International Amsterdam Tattoo Convention is back to RAI Amsterdam with the three-day weekend program. Be amazed by the works of artists from around the world and get tattooed if you want to! Pick the artist you’d like to get tattooed by and make an appointment before the convention starts.
27 May / Madam
Welcome to the party with a view at Madam Amsterdam! The entry is free and no reservation needed. Just show up at the door after 10 PM and enjoy a breathtaking view over Amsterdam, as well as the best selection of dance music.
28 May / Sloterpark
Add more color to your life! Once again, the Color Run steals the show to promote health and happiness and bring people together. Making their way to the finish line of this 5km run, the participants will face “paint explosions” every time they hit a new “zone” of the track. See here for additional info and tickets.
