30 November 2017 – 21 January 2018 / various locations
Amsterdam Light Festival is an annual art and light festival held in the Dutch capital for about 50 consecutive days in winter. This year, the festival features exactly 35 artworks, each made exclusively for the festival. Visit the water exhibition by booking a Water Colors cruise or admire the new land exhibition at the Marineterrein Amsterdam.
3 December / Westergasfabriek
Held on the first Sunday of every month at Amsterdam’s lively Westergasfabriek, the Sunday Market is the place to be on Sunday afternoon. Offering a chance to shop for art, fashion, design and food at the same time, this beloved market brings together all foodies, rummagers and art lovers of the Dutch capital. For the special Sinterklaas edition, Sint and his assistants will come along! The entrance is free.
3 December / You Can Yoga
Free Guided Meditation is a 30-minute class taking place at You Can Yoga every Sunday until December 17th. Enjoy a half an hour of peace as you are led through different breathing techniques and meditation exercises.
3 December / Volkshotel
Imagine yourself sitting in an open-air hot tub, with a drink in your hand, listening to live music and staring at the beautiful views of Amsterdam. Sounds good, doesn’t it? And what is even more surprising – the event is free. All you need to do is to come early enough to get a spot!
