Providing a creative platform for Asian filmmakers, the CinemAsia Film Festival entertains the Dutch audience with some of the best contemporary Asian movies. 2017 marks the 10th edition of the festival in Amsterdam. Catch it between the 7th and 12th of March at various locations around the city, including Filmtheater Kriterion, Rialto and Pakhuis de Zwijger.
Amsterdam Coffee Festival
10-12 March
This weekend, the Westergasfabriek is the place to be for every coffee addict of the Dutch capital! The Amsterdam Coffee Festival is back in town, together with over 100 professional roasters and baristas. Discover the latest trends in the world of coffee, learn how to make patterns on top of your latte and enjoy a cup or two of the world’s favorite hot beverage.
24H Oost
11 March
The first 2017 edition of 24H Amsterdam – 24H Oost – takes place on the 11th of March. This all-day event includes workshops and parties, tours around the city, festivals and parades, special theater and cinema performances, and so much more! Check it out.
IJ Hallen Flea Market
11-12 March
IJ Hallen is the biggest and the most extraordinary flea market in Europe that sells all kinds of things! Stock up on second-hand clothes and shoes. ‘Dig up’ a vintage bag or an antique lamp that costs less than a cup of coffee. Find everything you’re looking for and even more!
Cine Expat: Sieranevada
12 March
Join Cine Expat Amsterdam for their monthly foreign language film screenings with English subtitles. Next on the agenda is the terrifically lifelike and funny family drama Sieranevada.
